CONNIE BICKMAN

Connie is a multi-media artist who is always creating something new in her studio. She makes one-of-a-kind art junk journals, paper doll art, multi-faceted cards, treasure journal boxes and more. She loves working with paper in all forms. She also creates wisdom dolls, ornaments, and various dimensional creatures with needle wool felting, one of her latest endeavors.

When Connie isn’t making art, she is writing. She is the author of “The Touchstone Diary” series, “Jungle Moon,” “Dances with Words,” and several other books (available on Amazon or personally). She is currently working on book three of the Touchstone series and a book, “In the Shadow of Shamanism,” highlighting her experiences with Shaman, bush doctors, and healers around the world. She comes from a background in newspapers as an editor, publisher, photographer, writer and graphic designer, and enjoyed a 25-year career traveling around the world as a photojournalist and explorer.

On her spiritual journey for over 30 years, she is always eager to both learn and share. She is a Reiki Master, Swedish Massage certified, Level 2 Spring Forest Qigong healer, and has a certificate in “Gaia and the Spirit of Shamanism” from Schumacher College in England.

Most of all, Connie enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren in Arizona, Minnesota, New York and Costa Rica.
